In this world, a breakthrough in genetic engineering led to the creation of 'Anthros' - beings who are a fusion of human and animal DNA. Designed initially for survival in harsh environments, Anthros quickly became a symbol of the city's inequality.

The Anthros were created by a corporation known as GeneFusion. Their technology was meant to combat the deteriorating environmental conditions by blending human resilience with animal adaptations. However, the project took a darker turn when the corporation started using the Anthros for industrial and military purposes, exploiting their unique abilities.
